Mother Care  is a MENTOR VOLUNTEERS project supporting orphans and vulnerable children  infected and affected by country HIV/AIDS epidemic in Uganda. Mother Care project currently supports over 600 orphan through providing medical care, food, shelter, education assistance and psychosocial support

    

 

Mother Care is an initiative founded  by Mentor Volunteers to care for orphans from birth to adulthood. Mother Care comprises a home, Kindergarten and a primary school.  In line with the government's policies, Mother Care believes in placing children in a family environment rather than orphanage centers  Mother Care is committed to share knowledge and expertise with the people in the family and community. We have developed links with national and international organisations and international volunteers. Mother Care is also a centre for Suubi international Children’s choir which aims to advocate for the orphan’s rights and to raise resources to generate self-sustainable support
